As it is written in Matthew 28:19-20 (NIV): "Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."

OUR HISTORY
On 20th April 2008 in the city of Cape Town, a Bible study was started at the house of Pastor Robert Wanjohi in the Gardens area. Jesus Friends Fellowship (JFF) began with 8 people in attendance, with the service starting at 6 pm every Sunday.
As the group grew in faith and numbers, it became evident that a larger, more formal gathering place was needed. On 1st February 2009, JFF inaugurated its first morning service at Cape Town High School, which runs from 9:00 am – 11:00 am. Additionally, a Thursday Bible study was established, held from 7:00 pm – 8:00 pm, providing a midweek opportunity for spiritual growth and fellowship.
In subsequent years, JFF continued to flourish, attracting a diverse congregation united by their commitment to Christ. We give prominence to the preaching of the gospel, the study of the word of God, and exalting the Lord Jesus Christ. Our services have become a cornerstone of the community, fostering a supportive and loving environment where individuals can grow in their faith and discipleship.
By 2015, JFF had expanded its outreach programs, including community service initiatives and missions work, reflecting our dedication to living out the teachings of Jesus. The church also introduced various ministries to cater to the needs of children, youth, and adults, ensuring that every member of the congregation could find a place to belong and serve.
Today, Jesus Friends Fellowship stands as a testament to God's faithfulness and the power of a committed faith community. We continue to strive towards our mission of serving, developing disciples, empowering people for ministry, and worshipping God in truth and spirit, always remembering our humble beginnings in Pastor Robert's living room.
